MX records tell the internet where to deliver email for your domain.

  1. DirectAdmin → DNS Management
  2. Add/update your MX record(s)
  3. Set target to your mail server (commonly mail.yourdomain.co.uk)
  4. Set priority (lower number = higher priority). Common single MX: 10
  5. Save changes

Ensure mail.yourdomain.co.uk also resolves to the server IP (A record).
