White screen / 500 error

  • Disable plugins by renaming /wp-content/plugins to /wp-content/plugins.off
  • Switch theme by renaming the active theme folder in /wp-content/themes

404 errors on posts/pages

  1. WordPress admin → Settings → Permalinks
  2. Click Save Changes

Database connection error

  • Confirm DB details in wp-config.php
  • Ensure DB_HOST is localhost
